Fruit Pests and Diseases class May 6th

Spring and early summer are the most critical times to intervene if you want to reduce the harmful effects of most fruit pests and diseases.  Plan ahead!  Join the Minnesota Project’s Fruits of the City program as we learn how to control the most serious and damaging pests on your fruit trees and shrubs. This class will cover basics of pest control on Apples, Pears, Apricots, Raspberries, Blueberries, Grapes, Strawberries and Currants.

Fruit Pests and Diseases Class

May 6th, 6 – 8pm

Seward Co-op Classroom, 2nd Floor

2823 East Franklin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55406

Register at the Seward Co-op’s Customer Service Desk. The cost of the class is $15 ($10 for Seward Co-op owners)

About the Presenter: Jeffrey Johnson is a Landscape Gardener with the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, University of Minnesota. He is a woody plants specialist maintaining the trees and shrubs collections throughout the public cultivated areas in the Arboretum’s 1125 acres, applying his 30+ years of experience as a horticulturalist.
