Solar Works In Central Minnesota!

March 8, 2012

I wanted to put up a quick post to let people know about an event The Minnesota Project is helping to put on with the good folks at the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs). I’ll let the (very nice) event announcement speak for itself:

Have you been wondering if solar power could be a good fit for you?

You’re invited to join CERTs on March 28th 1-4pm in St. Cloud for an afternoon to learn more about solar energy, the solar industry in Minnesota, how solar works in your community, and resources to get started. You’ll also be able to connect with experts serving Central Minnesota that can talk to you more about your site, specific technologies, financing options, and your solar resource.

During this free workshop, participants will:

• Learn the basics of solar energy

• Hear from a panel of people who have solar power systems installed on their home or business in Central Minnesota

• Find out about incentives and rebates for installing solar power systems

• Get resources to start your solar energy project

This event will include a resource fair, networking opportunities, and refreshments!  This free event is open to the public.

Register now and see the full agenda online at http://solarworkscentral.eventbrite.com or call 612-626-0555.
