Stay for a question and answer session with area local food experts, including Heartland Food Network Coordinator Annalisa Hultberg, Tracy Singleton, owner of the Birchwood Cafe, Bobby King, Policy Program Oranizer at the Land Stewardship Project, and Greg Reynolds of Riverbend Farms.

Take advantage of this opportunity to interact with a diverse panel of local chefs, farmers, policy experts, and community organizers who are dedicated to promoting local and sustainable food. Come to learn and connect with others interested in local food in the Twin Cities!

    while looking for sites to recommend practical training spots around the world to help this fresh retiring individual get armed for commercial farming in an african country NIGERIA , i stumbled on your site .

    I could not help but leave a coment ;
    Your country is not considered as one of the hungry nations around the world yet you are making such fantastic movements forward . Africa is a continent that seems to have lost direction as to feeding her people so you see individuals making unimaginable offorts at success in all fields . Survival is critical &every living being wants to survive .

    Agriculture in most parts of Africa is mostly traditional & we feel what we lack is the commercial technic/method , structure/system that could actually be ocquired only in a practical setting .

    Would Africa ever get out of this problem ? THIS man is ready to accept help even if to work on a farm for free as a farm hand . JUST let him into the practical knowhow of commercial/large–scale farming if you can . please e-mail or …THANKS
