The Minnesota Project is part of – Give to the Max Day on November 17

November 11, 2009

giveMN_logoGiveMN is a first-of-its-kind online giving tool that makes the donation process easier and more convenient. The Minnesota Project has joined other non profits as part of this new resource for making donations to nonprofits.

Give to the Max Day is a giving stimulus plan created to increase giving to nonprofits across Minnesota on November 17, 2009. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for Minnesota charities in 24 hours. The Saint Paul Foundation, Minneapolis Foundation and Bush Foundation have committed $500,000 in matching contributions to support community needs in Minnesota and to cover transaction fees so that 100% of all donations go to the nonprofit organizations. Give to the Max Day goes from 8:00 a.m. on November 17, 2009 until 8:00 a.m. on November 18, 2009.

November 17 is your chance to increase your donation to The Minnesota Project.  Every donation made during Give to the Max Day will receive a portion of a $500,000 match. This means the exact amount matched per dollar donated will be determined after Give to the Max Day concludes. We encourage you to increase your donation by making a contribution next Tuesday to The Minnesota Project!
