October 14, 2009

On Tuesday, October 20th, Dr. Ryan Stockwell, Director of Energy and Agriculture with The Minnesota Project, will present “Upright Digester for Co-digestion.” This presentation, which is part of the session entitled: “Farm Digester Operations and Opportunities,” will be one of a number of sessions at the 9th Annual Biocycle Conference on Renewable Energy from Organics Recycling, held at the Ramada Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota this year on October 19th and 20th.

Dr. Stockwell will specifically address recent results of adding off-farm substrates to an existing on-farm digester.  He will also discuss the potential pitfalls and opportunities of new collaborations between farm and other entities to process organic waste through digesters.
