Minnesota Project Participates in Local and National Forums on Bioenergy

Recognized as a leader in biomass energy development and policy issues, The Minnesota Project  recently participated in two forums on biomass energy.  On April 2nd, Dr. Ryan Stockwell, Clean Energy Program Manager for The Minnesota Project, spoke on farm and business opportunities in anaerobic digestion at the McLeod for Tomorrow Renewable Energy Opportunities Forum at the Event Center in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  Around 100 residents, farmers, and business owners attended the forum on wind and biomass energy opportunities.  On April 8th, Ryan presented on policy and market issues affecting anaerobic digester projects at the National Biomass Project Tutorial, held in Atlanta, Georgia.  Biomass project developers from across the nation attended the conference to learn about project financing issues, planning strategy, and state and federal government policy impacts on biomass projects.
