Minnesota Project Participating in Renewable Energy Forum April 2nd

On April 2nd, McLeod for Tomorrow will hold a Renewable Energy Opportunities Forum at the Hutchinson Event Center, 1005 Highway 15 South from 1:00pm to 4:30pm, designed to inform McLeod County residents of wind and biogas technologies and opportunities.  Among other organizations, the Minnesota Project will present on business and economic opportunities in methane digesters for farmers, local businesses and city and county governments.  The purpose of the forum is to bring residents up to speed on wind and biogas technologies as well as introduce them to business opportunities so the area climbs to the forefront of these growing green energy sectors.  For more information about the forum contact Cheryl Glaeser of the Southwest Initiative Foundation at cherylg@swiffoundation.org or call at 320-587-4848 or Mary Jo Wieseler of McLeod for Tomorrow at 320-864-1320.  The event is free.  Pre-registration is encouraged, but registration is available the day of the forum.
